Why Should I Study?
Motivation
Motivation is the power that energizes and directs behavior and moves people towards a specific goal. It is a general concept that encompasses wants, desires, needs, impulses and interests. In order to meet a desire or need, we turn to a goal and decide whether to continue this behavior or not depending on the satisfaction of our need. In other words, motivation has an important role in every stage of behavior. Being able to continue, giving up or changing our direction is also related to motivation. There are internal and external factors that affect motivation:
Internal factors: Personal factors such as individual goals and intentions, biological and psychological needs, self-confidence, risk taking, coping with anxiety, curiosity. (For example, a student who believes his mind is at rest while solving a Math test)
·External factors: These are environmental factors such as society and family expectations, reward and punishment systems. (For example, a student who wants to study in medical school because he likes to wear a white coat)

Factors Affecting Our Desire to Work
Negative Automatic Thoughts
They are mental functions that occur without conscious judgment and that deeply affect our actions and emotions. All-or-Nothing Thinking; An individual who feels worthless and unsuccessful if he does not get a 10 in the exams. Overgeneralization; An individual who feels defeated in every subject due to failing a course. Individualization; thoughts like bad things always happen to me. Labeling; associating the person with useless, lazy judgments.
External factors
Excessive use of television, telephone and computer, friends, family and environmental factors are other factors that affect our motivation.

How Can We Increase Our Motivation?
Eliminating Barriers
The first condition to increase our motivation starts with removing the obstacles that prevent us. If you think that your use of social media is blocking you, it is up to you to put an end to it.
Purpose and Goal Setting
Goal and goal setting is another clue that will help us reach the point we want. First, determine your main long-term goal. Then set small goals for yourself for this purpose. This will allow you to reach your main goal more quickly and easily. Be precise when setting your goals. Determine exactly what you want to do. You can think of your goals on a piece of paper. It is useful to be realistic when setting your goal. It is very important for your success to set goals that you can reach within the time frame you set. Your goal should be measurable and achievable. For example, aiming to solve 7000 questions in a day will not be a very realistic goal. When setting your goals, be sure to set a time limit for yourself. Achieving your goal within the time frame you set will motivate you. Try not to delay your goals.
Trust yourself. Reward your achievements. Try to enjoy everything you do. Exercise and take time for yourself.
