In general, we see that the terms fear and anxiety are used interchangeably. Actually, these two terms have different meanings. Fear is an automatic response to a particular object, situation or situation, it involves recognizing a potential danger. It usually arises out of a person’s desire to protect himself.
Anxiety is a complex condition that lasts much longer and is often triggered by a preliminary fear. It can be explained as having a common, disturbing and vague worry. Anxiety is always future-oriented; What happens if …? ‘ works with the thought.
The main difference between fear and anxiety is their point of origin. Fear arises in situations for which the cause is known (eg, dog attack.), while anxiety arises in response to some kind of danger that may arise in the future (eg: what if I lose my job). Fear is a healthy emotion. In other words, its existence is not a troublesome situation for individuals. However, it would not be correct to say the same for anxiety. Especially high level of anxiety indicates various negativities.
