Objective: The aim of this retrospective study is to evaluate the success and clinical results of endovascular treatment in subclavian artery occlusive diseases and to compare these results with surgical treatment methods. Materials and Methods: Between 1994 and 2009, 14 (37.8%) women, 23′ of whom subclavian artery stenosis and/or occlusion were detected after presenting clinical symptoms and imaging methods, color Doppler ultrasonography (RDUS), Digital Subtraction Angiography (DSA) Endovascular treatment with balloon angioplasty and/or stent implantation was applied to 38 existing lesions in 37 patients, of whom 62.2% were men and their mean age was 56.4 (ranging from 22 to 82 years). After the treatment, the controls of the patients were followed up with clinical and CDUS at pre-planned times. Results: 32 of the lesions were located on the left (84.2%) and 6 of them were located on the right (15.8%). 7 (18.4%) cases were occlusion, 31 (81.6%) were stenosis. The rate of stenosis was more than 50% in RDUS and mean 83.2% in DSA. For stenotic lesions
