THE RELATIONSHIP OF CULTURE AND HEALTH The experiences that people have throughout their lives and the material and spiritual values that they create together with the society are called culture. They are our traditions and customs that are passed down from generation to generation. Culture consists of the environment in which it is formed, the geographical features of the region, its belief, history and its sub-titles. No matter how much the development and knowledge level of the society advances, its cultural values vary according to the region, the family or region where it grew up. The cultural values that people have learned since their existence also affect their perception of their own health.
