HEPATITIS Hepatitis is the name given to inflammation of the liver. It is divided into acute and chronic. Acute cases have a new onset of 1-10 days. Chronic ones are states of illness that last longer than 6 months. The most obvious symptom of hepatitis is weakness, in addition to this, jaundice, a vague pain in the right upper quadrant of the abdomen, and itching may occur.
