The performance criterion that determines the degree of achievement of the goals as a result of the practices carried out by the organizations and institutions to reach their predetermined goals is called effectiveness. The concept of effectiveness began to find a response in management sciences after the Second World War. The effectiveness, which was first used on an economic basis, later spread to other sciences and started to be used in many fields today. Organizational effectiveness is related to the extent to which the organization meets the demands of different groups. The benefits of the actions taken by the organization and how well the resources utilized during the actions are used should be considered within the scope of organizational effectiveness. Ensuring organizational effectiveness is among the basic duties of organizational managers. The person acting as a leader in the execution of management activities should be the person most responsible for ensuring organizational effectiveness.
