Pancreatic fistulas are the most common complication of pancreatic surgery. Although it is frequently seen after pancreatectomies, it can be seen after drainage of pseudocysts or local excisions of pancreatic tumors and/or biopsies. It may occur much less frequently after surgical interventions on neighboring organs. Sphincters and pressure differences in the biliopancreatic ducts have an important place in its pathogenesis. In addition to the fluid-electrolyte loss it may cause, it gains importance with metabolic acidosis, bleeding and secondary infections. Although the treatment is primarily conservative; In stubborn cases, ERCP sphincteroplasty, stenting and even conventional surgical methods can be used.
