by clinic

In a study conducted in Canada, it was investigated whether exercise has a role in reducing the risk of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (Lymph cancer).

Research results were published in the journal Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers & Prevention. In the study, it was determined that lifelong intense exercise can reduce the risk of non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

820 non-Hodgkin lymphoma patients of various ages included in the study were recruited. Compared to 848 people without lymphoma. Participants answered questions about their general health and lifestyle, including their level of physical activity, and found that people who performed the most intense physical activities throughout their lives had a 30 percent lower risk of non-Hodgkin lymphoma than people who exercised less.

The health benefits of exercise are emphasized and said by many. Studies have shown that exercise is both a preventive activity for cancer development and increases the success of treatment in cancer patients and reduces the side effects of treatment.

Regular exercise should be indispensable in our lives.
