Sometimes we are unhappy in our relationships and sometimes where we are.
A voice inside us says: ‘I will leave this man/woman’, ‘I will leave this school/job etc.’
It’s enough for us now.
????We have listened to our inner voice and have taken the necessary (!) step to get rid of this situation. But sometimes things don’t go as we expected. We experience similar things in a relationship with another person or in another environment we enter. That inner voice says this time: ‘it always finds me like this’.
???? However, there is not a single voice within us most of the time. But if the other sound(s) are weak, we cannot hear them. The sound we invest the most in is usually loud.
????In such a situation, instead of saying ‘he always finds me like this’, ‘what might the other voice be saying?’ If we listen, maybe we will gain a different perspective.
????Maybe the problem is with us ‘first’ from the other side. I say first because there may not be a white spoon out of milk on the other side, but it is more constructive and developing that we are primarily concerned with what kind of a share we have in being in such a situation.
????For example, maybe the problem is that we can’t stop others’ invading us or that we are invading other people’s borders. Maybe the problem is in the way we express ourselves, when we try to express ourselves, we blame the other party and make us feel under attack. Maybe we are very rule-driven, we have become this way because we cannot go beyond the rules in our heads. Maybe, maybe, maybe… These maybes can have hundreds of different forms. Again, we know best the low ‘maybe’ voice inside us and we can strengthen it.
????Without hearing this voice and making a real effort to understand it, wherever we go, we will not be able to escape from ourselves and we will always find ourselves in similar cycles.
