Psychological counseling helps individuals to know themselves better, understand their behaviors and improve themselves; It is a one-to-one process that takes place between the counselor and the individual, aiming at gaining the skills of coping with the academic, personal and social problems they face. People who receive psychological counseling services -let’s underline this- are called ‘client’, not ‘patient’. In other words, this service, contrary to the general perception, is not only for individuals with problems. For example, individuals who want to establish a more harmonious and healthy communication with their environment and improve themselves in certain areas can also benefit from this service. Counseling is an empathetic process with unconditional acceptance and respect. It is a process where the client is accepted as he is, without prejudice, regardless of the general appearance, education level, age, gender, race, economic status of the client. In other words, in the counseling process, the client is accepted as he is and is approached with empathy. In the psychological counseling process, the development of children and adolescents, adult counseling, family and couple counseling are carried out by our psychologist. We aim to serve by following the developments and techniques in the science of psychology and by protecting the principles of confidentiality within the framework of ethical rules.
In our institution, psychometrics, child-adolescent counseling, couple and family counseling and psychiatric counseling services are carried out in line with the aims such as solving the problems of individuals, increasing their daily life quality, and maintaining their individual development and social harmony.
