Osmangazi Municipality continues its spraying and disinfection works against possible epidemic diseases and pest formation in Hatay, one of the provinces most affected by the disaster of the century.
Osmangazi Municipality is carrying out spraying activities in Samandağ and Defne districts of Hatay in order to prevent possible epidemic diseases from infecting earthquake victims after the Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes. Osmangazi Municipality Environmental Protection and Control Directorate teams disinfect all areas, especially common areas, toilets, garbage containers, showers and tents, making them sterile against epidemic diseases, lice, fleas and pests.
Osmangazi Mayor Mustafa Dündar, regarding the works carried out in the earthquake region, said, “From the first moment of the earthquake, which saddened us all, we have mobilized all the possibilities of our municipality for our brothers and sisters.
We continue our efforts to heal the wounds of our earthquake victims in the region. We stood by our brothers, both with our search and rescue teams and with the aid trucks and construction equipment we sent to the region. We also sent our garbage collection vehicles against the risk of epidemic. Our teams carry out spraying and disinfection processes against the risk of possible epidemic diseases.
