All diseases are evaluated in two groups in terms of their effects on the body. First, “reversible” diseases; second, “irreversible” diseases. Reversible (reversible) In diseases, the causes and factors leading to the disease do not cause irreparable damage to the body at the cellular level or cause clinical conditions such as tumors, cancer, cysts, aneurysms, etc. that require surgery. For example, diseases in this group; We can give diseases such as migraine, asthma, lumbar and neck hernia (not requiring surgery), depression, anxiety, allergic skin diseases. Acupuncture treats this group of diseases very well.
In irreversible (irreversible) diseases, the causes that lead to the disease cause irreparable damage to the body at the cellular level or lead to conditions such as tumors, cancer, cysts, aneurysms, etc. that require surgery. As an example of this group of diseases; We can give diseases such as COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease), bronchiectasis, emphysema, tumors and cancers, hernias that require surgery, large joint arthrosis that require prosthesis. Acupuncture is not therapeutic in this group of diseases.
In reversible diseases, the therapeutic mechanisms of our body try to defeat and treat the existing disease. When this struggle fails, the disease emerges with all its clinical signs and symptoms. Here acupuncture is inside the body in this group of diseases. It causes the secretion of substances such as neuro-hormones, neuro-mediators, neuro-transmitters, and ensures the restoration of the internal balance of the body (hemostasis). Thus, the existing disease is treated without the need for any external drug application, without side effects.
Just as computers have hard disks as brains, our body also has hard disks as brains. How we can use the computer as we want by giving commands from the keys on the keyboard; By stimulating the acupuncture points, we capture the hard disk of the CNS and manage it. In a way, we create a new format for the brain. For this to happen, acupuncture must be applied in a correct, scientific way by an experienced specialist.
In summary, acupuncture should be preferred primarily in hundreds of diseases such as migraine, asthma, lumbar-neck hernia (non-surgical), depression, sleep disorders, allergic skin diseases, due to its side effects and mostly permanent treatment. It should not be understood from all these explanations that we are completely against drug treatments. As we mentioned above, there are also diseases that acupuncture cannot cure. In addition to drug therapy, acupuncture therapy can also be used as a supplement in such cases. Therefore, acupuncture should be considered and applied as an option in the treatment of diseases.
