Endoscopic surgery, which is sometimes used in brain surgeries performed through the nose, or in surgeries performed within the ventricles, which are fluid-filled spaces in the brain; sometimes it can be used as an aid in microsurgery operations performed by opening the skull bone.
For patients who have had back surgery in recent years but have not benefited, surgeons who have sometimes performed the surgery; The name of an application that is sometimes recommended by algologists dealing with pain is epiduroscopy. It means entering the spinal canal with a needle inserted through the coccyx, looking through the needle and trying to open these adhesions with some drugs or laser if there are some adhesions due to the surgery. Moreover, when the patient’s preparation procedures in the operating room, sleeping, waking up, waiting and transport times are added to this operation period; The time between leaving the patient’s room and returning to the room can sometimes be a few hours longer than the actual operation time. I would also like to remind you that since the patient was already asleep during the operation and the anesthesiologist was waiting for him; this period does not pose a significant problem for the patient. The prolongation of the operation time poses a challenge to the surgeon and the operating team at most.
