The first living donor liver transplant was performed at SANKO University Hospital. Ramazan Karahan (42) living in Gaziantep gave hope to his father Mahmut Karahan (72) by giving a piece of his liver to his father, Mahmut Karahan (72), in a successful operation performed by the SANKO University Hospital Organ Transplantation Center (transplANTEPSANKO).
