Violence is normalized and included in our lives, both in daily life and through television. Types of this violence; may differ economically, verbally, physically, psychologically, socially and sexually. Television, which is a tool in the transmission of violence, is the mass media that contributes the most to normalization, since it is almost in every home and is easy to reach. TV series also play an important role in feeding and ordinaryizing this violence on television, implicitly or not. In particular, its role in fostering violence against women is strengthened by the presentation of women and the attitude towards violence against women. In these television series, violence against women is handled differently according to the presentation of positive women that meet the expectations of the society and the presentation of negative women that do not comply with the expectations.
