The number of rare diseases identified is more than 6,000 and 72 of these diseases are genetically inherited. Seventy percent of genetic rare diseases begin in childhood. With the unconditional support of GEN, the Nadir-X comic, written by illustrator Erhan Candan and supervised by Pedagogue Ebru Şen, to raise awareness about rare diseases, features the stories of three children fighting rare diseases. Nadir-X comic book will be on the shelves of all bookstores in March with the support of the Cystic Fibrosis Assistance and Solidarity Association, Cystinosis Patients Association, Duchenne Muscle Disease Fighting Association under the Golden Books signature.
