EUTF Hospital Anesthesiology and Reanimation Department Intensive Care Clinic received the “Permanent 3rd Level Intensive Care” registration
Ege University Faculty of Medicine (EUTF) Hospital continues to certify its quality in national and international standards with the health services it provides. Ege University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimation, Intensive Care Clinic, received the “Permanent 3rd Level Intensive Care” registration by the Ministry of Health. Ege University Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Budak said, “We will continue to work with all our strength to increase the quality of our A Plus hospital, which is one of the units where our fully accredited research university meets with the society most, and to provide more efficient service.”
Rector Prof. Dr. Budak said, “Our anesthesia intensive care unit has a senior and respected place among the general intensive care units in our country. Our Intensive Care Clinic, which accepts an average of 600 patients a year, registered its service quality by obtaining permanent 3rd level intensive care registration by the Ministry of Health. Recently, we have implemented important projects for EUTF Hospital with the support of our state. In this context, we have equipped all our clinics with the world’s most advanced technologies with the investments we have made. We renewed the physical infrastructure of our departments. We have achieved important successes in diagnosis, treatment and surgery by increasing the service quality above world standards. The Medical Faculty Hospital of our Research University, which is the first fully institutionally accredited five-year hospital in Turkey, will continue to increase its success with each passing day, both with the quality of education and the health services it offers. I would like to thank our members for their hard work,” he said.
The Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimation provides routine health services in 11 different surgery clinics and more than 30 rooms within the body of Ege University Medical Faculty Hospital. He undertakes important duties in many areas such as monitoring and treating the patient until he returns to normal conditions during the postoperative recovery period, and relieving pain. In addition, anesthesia or analgesia-sedation is applied in gastroenterology, radiotherapy, interventional radiology, invasive pediatric cardiology, bronchoscopy, maxillofacial surgery of special cases and radiological examinations of some pediatric cases.
