Due to the earthquake disaster that occurred in our country, a conference titled “Psychic Health in Schools After the Disaster” was held in order to increase the knowledge of school Guidance Teachers/Psychological Counselors working in Izmir on post-earthquake psychosocial support activities. prof. Dr. The event, which was held at İzmir Girls’ High School and where Yankı Yazgan was a guest, was attended by Child and Youth Psychiatrist Specialist. Dr. Önder Küçük and Dr. Psychological Counselor Şükran Basarir also contributed. Provincial Deputy Director of National Education İbrahim Doğru and 320 Guidance Teachers/Psychological Counselors working in İzmir attended the conference.
After the question-answer session between the Counselor/Psychological Counselors and experts in the conference titled “Mental Health at School After the Disaster”, the presentation part was started. The guests of the department are Yazgan, a professor at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, a lecturer at Yale Child Study Center, a freelance specialist in child/adolescent and adult psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Uzm.
