WHAT IS MESOTHERAPY? CELLULITE MESOTHERAPY
Mesotherapy Cellulite Lifting
It was first defined by the French physician PISTOR in 1952. Mesotherapy; It is a medical practice that controls or treats pain or diseases by means of micro-injections applied locally where they are in the body. It consists of the Latin words “meso = middle” and “therapy = treatment” and means “medium skin treatment”.
All the measurements taken by the drugs taken orally or by injections into the muscle or the vein cannot reach the relevant target organ. Because during the absorption of the drugs, some of them are disintegrated and excreted without being absorbed. Therefore, the effect of the drug taken remains limited. In addition, since drugs taken systemically can spread to the whole body through the blood, they are not related to the disease, but they will also affect other organs or tissues that may be affected by that drug, and undesirable side effects may occur. Mesotherapy, on the other hand, will solve the problem without causing any undesirable side effects, compared to the one taken orally, with only small microinjections to the troubled area (at a much more effective dose than the dose taken by mouth or hip injection in the problem area).
Mesotherapy is a method applied by using very thin and short needle tips. The pain felt is very less in parallel with the size of the needles. However, after the application area is disinfected, it can be anesthetized by means of local anesthetic sprays and the loss of all sensation can be achieved. Since the absorption of drugs from here is very low in mesotherapy, drug penetration into the systemic circulation is negligible. The number of injections made; It varies depending on the patient, the disease and the anatomy of the injection site.
Mesotherapy application is mostly done by using mesotherapy device. In practice, the injection technique and the pharmacological drug measure to be given are very valuable. There is no general consensus on this issue.
MESOTHERAPY IS USED FOR THE TREATMENT OF WHICH DISEASES?
Mesotherapy for aesthetic purposes, especially for cellulite, regional slimming, body shaping, weight loss, facial vitality (mesolift), eye bags, skin cracks, scar tissue (aesthetic problems),
Also ; It is widely used successfully in order to prevent vascular spots, various skin problems, skin aging and hair loss such as youth vaccine.
Mesotherapy is frequently used in all joint diseases such as arthritis, neck and lower back pain, sciatica and brachialgia, migraine and menstrual pain, sports traumas, varicose veins, lymphedema and phlebitis.
WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF MESOTHERAPY?
Not all the measurements taken by the drugs taken orally or by injections into the muscle or vein can always reach the relevant target area. Because, during the absorption of drugs, some of them are disintegrated and excreted without being absorbed. Therefore, the effect of the drug taken remains limited. In addition, since the drugs taken systemically can spread to the whole body through the blood, they will also affect our other organs or tissues and unwanted side effects may occur. In mesotherapy, drugs are given directly to the problem area with microinjections made in small sizes. The problem is solved without causing any systemic side effects. In this way, the maximum benefit from the treatment is obtained.
MESOTHERAPY APPLICATION TECHNIQUE
It is applied with very fine needle tips to specific areas selected depending on the conditions to be treated. What is valuable is to know the pharmacological properties of the drugs used in the prepared cocktail, their interactions with each other and their potential for side effects. The pain felt is quite low in proportion to the size of the needles. The number of sessions of the treatment varies depending on the person treated, the degree of the problem and the area where the injection will be made.
HOW DOES MESOTHERAPY AFFECT CELLULITY?
Increases regional blood and lymph flow. Thanks to the injected drug, the fat cells that are trapped in the cells and cannot be used by the body are released and join the circulation. It causes the rupture of the fibrous hard ligaments that cause the orange peel appearance. It can be applied in areas where fat accumulation is heavy such as waist, hip, upper-inner leg, knee, abdomen, shoulder, arm.
HOW MANY SESSIONS OF MESOTHERAPY ARE APPLIED?
It depends on the purpose of mesotherapy and the place of application. Mesotherapy sessions, which continue in the middle of approximately 6-16 sessions for cellulite, are planned according to the degree of cellulite. These injections, which are made 1-2 times a week, are completed in approximately 15-30 minutes. There may be bruising after treatment. After the cellulite treatment is completed, two-month mid to single session mesotherapy is valuable in terms of maintaining the result.
WHAT SHOULD BE CONSIDERED IN MESOTHERAPY TREATMENT?
During the treatment period, soda and salt should be avoided, diets consisting of fat-free, sugar-free and pulpy foods should be applied, and herbal teas should be preferred as a beverage. Patients who will start mesotherapy treatment are advised to follow a diet under the supervision of a specialist in parallel with the treatment, if their body/mass index is above the normal range. During and after the treatment, patients should have sports (such as walking and swimming), a healthy diet and lifestyle, and avoid tension. It is recommended to consume approximately 1.5-2 liters of water per day.

This injection, which is done 1-2 times a week, is completed in about 10 minutes. You may feel very little pain during the treatment period. There may be bruising after treatment.
