Asthma bronchiale, its treatment with acupuncture

by clinic

Asthma Bronchialle is one of the few chronic diseases that are most common in society. The disease affects people of all age groups and in some cases even causes death. In addition, it has been understood that the prevalence of the disease increases in children and young adults with various studies. Studies have shown that there are 2-4% asthma cases in adults and 6-8% in children in our country.

Although significant advances have been made in the pathology, pathophysiology, immunology and pharmacology of the disease in the last 20 years, the disease has still not been fully defined and classified.

Asthma in Brief; It is a chronic inflammatory airway disease characterized by usually reversible airway obstruction and hypersensitivity, causing symptoms of wheezing and shortness of breath. Pathological studies have revealed that even in the mildest asthma, there is inflammation in the airway, this inflammation persists even in asymptomatic periods of the disease and is directly related to airway hyperresponsiveness. 90% of childhood asthma and 50-60% of adult asthma develops due to allergic mechanisms.

Sensitive individuals may complain of wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness and coughing in seizures. Complaints are seen especially at night and / or towards the morning.

TREATMENT WITH ACUPUNCTURE
If the patient presenting with asthma complaints has not been diagnosed medically; First, a physical examination is performed and the most appropriate diagnostic methods for that patient are applied. The diagnosis of asthma is strengthened by blood and urine tests, chest x-rays or, if necessary, lung tomography, breath measurement tests (spirometric test). If there is no other secondary lung disease (such as emphysema, chronic bronchitis, bronchiectasis, cor pulmonale, etc.), it is a case suitable for acupuncture treatment.

A complete treatment is provided with ear and body acupuncture. Therefore, first of all, the electrical potentials of the ear acupuncture points are measured to determine how well the body will respond to the treatment. With specially developed point scanning (detector) devices, the points are detected in the electronic environment. electrical loads are measured. In other words, the electrical load of the acupuncture points is determined. Because there are electrical points in the ear with which every organ and tissue systems are in constant communication. After determining these points with our devices, according to whether the point is (-) or (+) charged; gold or silver needles are used.

According to the protracted duration and severity of the disease, a total of 27 sessions of 9 sessions are planned on average. That is, a total of 3 sessions of treatment, each session being 9 sessions. With this treatment, innate therapeutic substances (hormones, neurotransmitters) are secreted in our body. The body’s self-healing process is strengthened and accelerated.

As long as there is no secondary lung disease with asthma, the success of acupuncture is 98% cure. That is, 98 out of every 100 patients treated, recover permanently. There is a significant decrease in the severity and duration of the drug, or the need for the drugs used is less than before. Even this is a very important development in terms of 2% of cases.

In summary, acupuncture, which is drug-free and has no side effects, cures asthma with a high rate of 98%. In 2000, at the 9th International World Acupuncture Congress, which I attended in Vienna, the capital of Austria, the British Royal Academy A group of researchers from the Acupuncture Institute presented a very comprehensive scientific paper on the need to treat asthma in children primarily with acupuncture. Acupuncture can be applied to asthmatic children of all ages and genders who are not afraid of needles (which we can insert to a maximum depth of 0.1 mm.). Even when applied in childhood, results can be obtained in a much shorter time compared to the treatment of adults. It is also carried out at the “Ludwig Boltzman Acupuncture Institute”, which was established in With acupuncture treatment, our people who have to take drugs for life will be freed from these drugs. Of course, all this is only valid for patients who have asthma and do not have secondary lung disease. The acupuncturist doctor, who will make the distinction, will definitely make his decision after illuminating examinations.

In the treatment, we treat not only the asthma points but also the psychosomatic points. Because the person can go into a state of mental depression due to his asthma. Depression can develop much more easily in asthmatic patients. Apart from that, anxiety is the mental state we call it. Anxiety can also be seen. Therefore, a holistic treatment is applied by including the acupuncture points related to them within the scope of the treatment. In addition, if the person is also affected by atmospheric weather changes, the “air exchange” points related to this condition are also included in the treatment, and the holistic treatment is completed. .
