The main thing here is only your family, relatives and friends. Also, the aim here is not to win the war, but to stop the war. Russia wants to wipe us off the map and we are resisting it. I wake up at 4 in the morning. Sometimes I take a 3-hour trip and go to other places. This mostly happens in a military vehicle for security. He wears military uniforms, stays in one-to-one places with our soldiers and eats just like the captain. He is no longer a rock star, but a regular. You are about to become a citizen. And I am very happy about it. This has been a wonderful life experience for me. He will now be a much easier living Svyatoslav.”

To give him some morale, I consoled him by saying, ‘You are still healthy and there are many parts of your body that will work for you.’ There was a small smile on the man’s face, but he was supposedly crying blood. Just then, the nurse lady came to us. Leaning in my ear, he said that his two sons and his wife had been shot by Russian soldiers before the man’s eyes. It’s hard to describe how I felt at that moment. Ukrainian men who have lived abroad for years also left their families and came for the independence of Ukraine…”
