ASTIGMAT IMPROVES PERFECT VISION
What is astigmatism?
Astigmatism is the curvature or trapezoid of the front lens of the eye (Cornea) or the lens inside the eye. The most common is the curvature of the cornea. The image is both blurry at distance and crooked near. It is the cause of significant headache, dizziness, fatigue, and low vision despite glasses. Images fly. Soon the letters get mixed up, shadows form on them. Even if corrected with glasses, the clarity of vision is not sufficient. The astigmatized eye does not focus perfectly. In the normal eye, the image becomes clear as dots on the retina. In astigmatism, it focuses in the form of a plane. (Stigma: Point. Astigma: Pointless.) Take care of astigmatism. Astigmatism is the cause of severe strabismus and uncorrected lazy eye. Correction of astigmatism with glasses does not provide sufficient vision. Astigmatism must be corrected with exercise. The front lens of the eye, the cornea, is 0.5 millimeters of soft tissue. Congenital astigmatism is less, lifestyle occurs on the eye before the age of 20, when the white of the eye is soft.
In infants and children, the white layer of the eye, the sclera, and the front lens of the eye, the cornea, are very soft and change shape easily. The eyeball is easily warped by external pressures. This causes wrinkling of the cornea. Pressures on the eye come from the eyelid or are the result of an imbalance between the external muscles of the eye. If the anterior posterior diameter is short, astigmatism is plus, if it is longer than normal, it is negative. Astigmatism, which is positive because the anterior posterior diameter of the eye is short, turns negative due to the prolongation of the anterior posterior diameter of the baby in normal development. If there is myopia in the family, myopia is added to this. In astigmatism, the focus is in the form of a plane, not a point. Especially with both plus and minus glasses, which we call Mixt, the image is again formed in the form of a plane in front of and behind the yellow dot. Seeing effort does not sharpen the image in the yellow spot. Although glasses show, they do not provide perfect vision.
Let’s explain in an organic lens. Eyelid pressure warps the glass from above. The glass extends forward, that is, myopic astigmatism is added. Axis correction is 180 in glasses. If the anterior posterior diameter is short, plus astigmatism occurs, the correction with glasses is on the 90 axis. Astigmatism is the cause of failure in the treatment of strabismus. It prolongs the treatment of strabismus and lazy eye. Recurrence of lazy eye causes. By closing the healthy eye, vision does not increase or increases slightly, and it deteriorates again. If the focus is without astigmatism, the image is focused on the yellow spot where sharp vision is. As you move away from the yellow spot, the cone cells that are concentrated in the yellow spot, which provide perfect vision, decrease and visual perfection decreases. Therefore, there is no perfect vision in astigmatism, and there is little improvement in it. The solution is to correct astigmatism with exercise. Astigmatism has a number written on the cyl part and an axis written on the axis part. The excess of the print causes the size of the number, the location of the print causes the direction of the axis. If the astigmatism is 180 degrees and around, the eyelids put pressure on the eye. If the anterior posterior diameter of the eye is short, this will be around plus and 90 degrees. If the astigmatism is around 20 and 160, the eyelids put pressure on the eye from the side. If the astigmatism is around 135 and 45, there is an imbalance between the 6 + 6 muscles outside the eye, especially in the oblique muscles… What to do? The pressures should be removed with exercise and the balance between the eye muscles should be reestablished. In order to finish the treatment in a short time in the treatment of lazy eye and strabismus, it is necessary to eliminate the astigmatism first. The most effective age in treatment is under 10 years old, especially around 3 years old. It should not be too late to see without glasses.
