Hicran’s family, who has not been heard from for 20 days, made a statement saying, “Our 65-year-old Yaşar Şahin sexually assaulted our daughter Hicran while she was at the end of high school.” The Hicran family also stated that Şahin forced the girls into involuntary union by holding a knife to Hicran’s throat and that they had a baby with this union.
