brain tumors

by clinic
Brain tumors are one of the most serious group diseases of neurosurgery that can be easily diagnosed with the introduction of imaging techniques such as MRI and Tomography into medical practice since the middle of the last century.
Brain tumors do not usually appear with headaches, contrary to popular belief. These patients often present with epileptic seizures, personality or mood changes, weakness in one half of the body, sudden disturbances in vision, hearing or speech, vomiting and imbalance.
True and radical treatment of brain tumors is done by open surgery (surgery). Today, we are able to provide definitive and radical treatment of most of the brain tumors by using the opportunities offered by technology and the surgical microscope and microsurgery methods. Our patients are discharged from the hospital 3-4 days after the operation without any problems. The methods known as gamma knife (also known as gamma knife) or knifeless surgery are only auxiliary methods like other radiation treatments. I repeat, the definitive treatment of almost all brain tumors is done by open surgery.
