4 Turkish students who participated in the European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad held in the city of Ifet, Hungary, came second in Europe with their performances and achieved the best level in history. First Lady Emine Erdoğan, the wife of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, shared the success of Turkish students on her social media account.
11th European Girls’ Mathematics Olympiad, which was held with the participation of 57 countries in total, 31 of which were European, was held in Şayet, Hungary on 6-12 April 2022. İrem Gülce Yazgan representing Turkey; Gold Medal, Melek Güngör and Sena Başaran; He became the pride of our country by winning the Silver Medal and Cemre Çetin the Bronze Medal. With this success, Turkey achieved a historical success by being ranked 2nd in the middle of 31 European countries in the total score ranking in the 11th European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad.
