Diagnosis is half the treatment. But how should this diagnosis be made?

There are many names of diseases in classical medicine and dentistry. Physicians, on the other hand, try to decide which disease the patient’s symptoms fit into. Today, doctors have given each symptom a name, and there is an expectation that these symptoms will go away with one or more medications. For example, there are numerous symptom names such as migraine, herniated disc, allergic asthma, Hashimoto’s thyroid, gastritis, gum disease, tooth decay. How do we identify complaints when we eliminate these symptom names? We have to evaluate many things together, which complaints are present, in which situations they occur, what are the factors that trigger them, what are all the biochemical changes in the body.

For example, consider a headache: On which side of the head does it occur, when does it occur, how long does it last, are there any food or events that trigger it? When did it start, was there any other physical or psychological difference before? Many more questions are answered differently by each headache sufferer. How can a headache of many different origins be cured with just one medicine?

However, every pain is a cry for help to help the body itself. So the purpose of us doctors is not only to not feel the pain.

should it be to provide pain relief or to ensure that the pain does not recur by correcting the conditions that cause pain? In this case, we should ask ourselves some questions. First 3 years in medicine and dentistry, anatomy, biochemistry,

normal functioning of the human body, intercellular relations, immunity, bioinformation, cellular energy production in courses such as microbiology, physiology and genetics; With pathology, the impaired state of this functioning is taught. Students memorize all these basic science lessons and don’t feel like doctors yet. Then it is passed to the 4th grade and the names of the diseases appear; They learn which technique or which drug will be used in which disease. These topics make students feel like they are doctors in later grades. Now they are dealing with real patients and they feel that they need to heal the patients as soon as possible. Meanwhile, the knowledge they learned in the first 3 grades lags far behind. The shortest, simplest technique is preferred by everyone. Surgical intervention and the use of drugs are methods that eliminate the patient’s current pain or other symptoms as soon as possible. But is the shortest path always the right one?

Does Every Doctor Have to Be an Expert?

Today, there is an intense increase in the number of physicians specializing in classical medicine and dentistry. All graduates, as soon as they finish school

He is preparing for the exam to become an expert as soon as possible. When there are so many specialists, patients now consider non-specialist doctors as half doctors and prefer experts. Expertise is of course extremely necessary. No one can learn everything down to the smallest detail. These fine details can only be learned by focusing on a single subject. However, when this situation spreads among physicians in general, the body begins to be seen as a collection of organs. Experts deal only with the main problem of their field, simultaneously but without

they see the problems existing in the regions they consider independent as secondary problems. Unfortunately, as the specialization increases, one gets further and further away from the whole.

However, inflammation is the root of all diseases. inflammation,

It is the body’s work of self-healing. If the body can eliminate inflammation, the disease will heal, if not, it will become chronic.

In this case, the questions to be answered are:

  • What is causing this inflammation?
  • If the body can’t beat this inflammation, what’s causing it? Is it a biochemical or microbiological deficiency, an excess of a substance (bacteria, toxin, heavy metal, etc.) that should not be in the body, or a mechanical obstacle?
  • Under what conditions and in what ways did this dysfunction occur, how did the balance of the body, called homeostasis, deteriorate?
  • How can I return them from the same path?

What is the Basis of Diseases?

Finding answers to these questions not only suppresses the symptoms of the disease and offers short-term solutions, but also provides a lasting well-being.

Let’s give an example: Rheumatologists are interested in rheumatism and use cortisones in the treatment. When a dentist sees that the patient has gum disease, he performs tartar cleaning, gum surgery, and sometimes gives antibiotics. When we examine the onset and functioning mechanism, that is, the pathophysiology of both diseases, we see that they are almost exactly the same. So why are the treatment methods so different? Or is the disease being treated or a symptom of the disease? In both diseases, there is an inflammation in the body and the immune system attacks its own tissue, causing destruction. So the system is exactly the same. However, breaking the initial formation cycle of diseases and preventing the emergence of disease symptoms is the task of the detoxification phase, which we call methylation. Ensuring the balance of vitamins and minerals, which are their duties here, provides a permanent state of well-being. The initial stage of both symptoms is the deterioration of the detoxification mechanism due to reasons such as lack of probiotic bacteria, drugs used, heavy metals, toxins, malnutrition. Because the proper functioning of methylation ensures the detoxification of genetic diseases and the silencing of those diseased genes. The improvement of this situation ensures that the symptoms do not occur at the beginning and that the symptoms are stopped.

There is no such thing as alternative medicine, there should not be. The word alternative is to replace one thing with another. Nothing can replace medical knowledge. However, from a holistic point of view, many methods can be used to increase and support the regulation, that is, the body’s self-healing capacity. This requires a very good knowledge of physiology, microbiology, genetics, anatomy and pathology. People who do not know or do not take into account the functioning of the body and the mechanisms of its deterioration can only use supportive methods.

Medications are often one of these supportive mechanisms. Antibiotics do not eliminate the source of infection, but suppress the acute infection. Painkillers, steroids do not heal the cause of the pain, they prevent the pain from being heard. Techniques to be used in various symptoms are not just medications or operations. But not knowing why you are doing what you do brings healing depending on coincidences.

For example, if a patient has a contraction in the 5th thoracic vertebra, liver functions may be impaired, since the nerve passing through this region innervates the liver (innervating = transmitting or receiving nerves, laying a neural network; that is, the nerve passing through this region goes to the liver). As a result, toxins and foreign substances in the blood may not be cleaned sufficiently and some foods may not be tolerated (eg lobster). This example can also work in reverse. Because neural transmission is bidirectional. Too much

The liver of someone who eats lobster can be stressed. This can cause weakness in the 5th thoracic vertebra and chronic back pain. If the patient goes to a physical therapy doctor for back pain who does not look holistically, only physical therapy will be performed and a short-term well-being will be ensured. However, a physiotherapist with a holistic perspective will question whether back pain is actually caused by the 5th thoracic vertebra or the liver.

According to his findings, in line with his own knowledge and abilities, detox, manual therapy, neural therapy, physical therapy, etc. will use one or more of these techniques together and will ensure that the treatment is permanent.

Advertising is very important today, especially in our country. Many physicians describe techniques that they claim will solve everything in the television programs they attend. Many of these techniques are correct and useful techniques. But the truth is that just as diseases are not caused by a single cause, they cannot be cured by a single technique.

Used in traditional medicine, acupuncture, ayurveda, phytotherapy, mug etc. Along with many methods, the mechanisms of techniques such as neural therapy, kinesiology, ozone, manual therapy, osteopathy, which have been used in the twentieth century, are also fully explained. Many medical practitioners who do not know these mechanisms stay away from these techniques by calling them “alternative” or

belittles them. Yet 150 years ago, the techniques taught in schools today were initially seen as alternative and unreliable. Each knowledge is formed by the development of previous knowledge.

For example, the active ingredient of the majority of medicines is derived from plants. Then why is the treatment with herbs called phytotherapy being underestimated? Medicines, like herbs, have side effects in unconscious use. The problem here is unconscious use and insufficient knowledge of the mechanism. These techniques should also be used when appropriate and timely. For example, antibiotics cannot be avoided in acute infection, but several techniques such as intestinal flora correction, neural therapy, acupuncture, homeopathy or phytotherapy can be used together in chronic infection. Neural therapy, dental treatment, acupuncture, and manual therapy can be used for long-lasting neck-arm pains and numbness. That is, treatment techniques also differ depending on where the symptoms originate.

In the tradition of personalized medicine practiced for thousands of years in China, there is a saying:

“A bad doctor cures the disease.

A mediocre doctor prevents the disease from recurring.

But a good doctor ensures that the disease does not occur.”

Holistic medicine, on the other hand, works with the principle of “There is no disease, there are patients”.

and uses the patient’s own treatment method.
