How often should pregnancy follow-up be done?

by clinic

The probability of pregnancy loss in the first trimester is higher. During this period, expectant mothers may be more worried as they cannot feel the baby movements yet. Healthy, singleton pregnancy follow-up is done at 2-3 week intervals during the first trimester. Pregnancy follow-ups often continue on a monthly basis. If there is a threat of twin pregnancy, miscarriage or premature birth in previous pregnancies, or if there is a disease in the expectant mother, pregnancy follow-up should be done at more frequent intervals.
