We held a very important meeting where we discussed what can be done with endoscopic methods and what can be done in the future. We listened to the approaches of the USA in the field of advanced endoscopy, at what stage they are and what they can do through case reports. We explained the latest point we have reached in the field of advanced endoscopy in Turkey to them and to the specialist physicians who listened to us from many parts of the world, through case reports. We have conveyed our success in all methods that can be done with endoscopy and we have shown that we are at the most advanced point in the world in this field. At the same time, we organized an organization that has the feature of being one of the first meetings held between the USA and Turkey in this field”.

Stating that organizing the meeting online during the pandemic period provides a wide participation opportunity and new organizations are planned in the future, Assoc. Dr. Salih Buga said:
“It is an organization that we are very excited about because it was the first step of the cooperation with Cedars Sinai as Memorial Health Group. We presented the advanced endoscopic procedures in Turkey, which we performed in our field, through cases, and they shared with us about the advanced endoscopic procedures, patient follow-up and quality policies in the USA. Thus, a very beneficial mutual interaction took place in our field. Normally, this meeting would be organized face-to-face in Turkey or the USA, but due to the pandemic process, we held it online, so it was an important meeting with the participation of specialist physicians from both Europe and the Middle East. A very important event was held both in the promotion of our country’s success in the health system and in demonstrating that specific diagnosis and treatment practices are carried out with the same quality as in the USA and Europe.”
