Mesotherapy applications in low back pain, waist hernia

Mesotherapy is a complementary medicine application method that provides the healing of organ pathologies through the application of herbal and pharmacological drugs to the middle skin layer by injection and the dermis of mesoderm origin. In mesotherapy, drugs selected for the target organ and in accordance with the treatment purpose are applied locally, in small doses, to the dermis with special needles and a special technique. The drug, which reaches the microvascular structures after the application, shows its effect rapidly. There are studies proving that it is more effective and safer than systemic treatment in the treatment of low back pain, herniated disc and osteoarthritis. This method, which is widely used all over the world, has started to be used more and more in our country. “Traditional and Complementary Medicine Practices Regulation” was published in our country in 2014 and the Turkish Mesotherapy Association was established in 2019. The treatment is carried out by certified physicians and anyone between the ages of 18 and 75 with good general health can be treated with the mesotherapy application technique.
