Osteoporosis, which our people call osteoporosis, is a common cause of low back and back pain in patients over a certain age. Plain X-rays and bone density studies (DXA) are guiding for this disease, which mostly affects women. In the case of a spinal fracture that develops as a result of osteoporosis, methods such as intravertebral balloon application can be used in recent years, without even cutting the patient’s skin, in order to enable the patient to continue his life both actively and painlessly and to stand upright.
Another metabolic disease that seriously affects the spine and causes low back pain is osteomalacia, that is, bone softening, which develops due to calcium and phosphorus deficiency in the body. In addition to all these, chronic radium poisoning, hemorrhages, inflammation of the nerves, AIDS, diseases of the spine itself and various gynecological diseases should not be ignored. Injury, compression, compression, inability to feed, tumors of the sciatic nerve should also be considered. Diabetes, bad posture and sitting habits, obesity, pregnancy and various psychological disorders can also cause back and/or leg pain. Pain caused by leg veins, hip joint and other joint disorders should always be considered. In the meantime, it should be kept in mind that there may be people who try to attract the attention and affection of those around them, and who aim for indirect gains such as compensation or early retirement.
