Working under the Kemer Municipality Health Affairs Directorate, Psychologist Sevilay Bozkaya provides psychological first aid support to earthquake survivors who came to Kemer after the 7.7 and 7.6 earthquakes that occurred in Kahramanmaraş and were felt in 10 provinces.
Kemer Municipality, which carries out work for children in Kahramanmaraş, the epicenter of the earthquake, which is described as the “disaster of the century”, aims to get away from the negative effects of the earthquake, with the psychological first aid support it provides to children.
Kemer Municipality Psychologist Sevilay Bozkaya, who works with children to get away from the negative feelings created by the earthquake by doing various activities, takes special care of earthquake survivors who come to Kemer from many cities of Turkey.
Bozkaya chats with children and plays various games. On the other hand, it was stated that psychological first aid support was given to the earthquake victims who were adults on certain days.
