According to Shen Nung, there is a life energy that we call Qi = Chi in the body; It is stated that it circulates all over the body. Qi is considered to be both the spiritual, emotional=emotional, behavior, mental=mind, and physical activity of the body. According to Chinese philosophy; Qi=energy; It is under the influence of universal forces in the sense of YIN = negative and YANG = positive. This life energy, which we call Qi = Chi, circulates in balance in the human body in channels we call meridians. So, any shortage or abundance, imbalance or interruption of Qi=Chi life energy (Chi) causes the balance between Yin and Yang to deteriorate, which causes people to get sick. According to Chinese medicine, Qi = Energy; It is carried and circulated in the body by some special meridians and channels. 12 of these meridians are in pairs, on both sides of the body. There are also 2 extra meridians going from the front and back of the body. These meridians wrap the body vertically, subcutaneously up and down, like a net. There are also acupuncture points on these meridians. Any blockage, deficiency or imbalance in the energy flow along the meridian will disrupt the balance between Yin and Yang, so diseases occur. Acupuncture is done by inserting needles into special acupuncture points on the meridian to provide this balance. Thus, it is applied as sessions (15–45 minutes) at regular intervals to overcome the disease.
It has become one of the most important theory (Tao philosophy) used in discussions of Yin and Yang acupuncture therapy.
Yin – Yang balance system in the body (TAO philosophy)
According to ancient Chinese philosophy, the world is made of two opposite things. The balance of the realm; these two opposites are provided by being in mutual and constant movement. These two opposite things are called Yin and Yang.
In the world, just as day and night, cold-hot, bitter-sweet, little-abundant, rotten-solid, empty-full, hungry-full, positive-negative, etc. If there is a balance of opposites such as, there is a balance system in the human body consisting of such opposites. This system is called the balance of yin and yang. In this balance, people are healthy and healthy. Disruption of the Yin and Yang balance causes diseases and pain. The basic principle of acupuncture treatment lies in maintaining this balance. As this internal-external and psychological balance, which we also call hemeostasis, begins to deteriorate, it begins to appear in diseases.
Then the person himself;
* dejected,
*restless,
*Uncomfortable,
*with pain,
*Feels sick.
In fact, this is due to the fact that the flow of the existing life energy “Qi” in the body has been interrupted in some way.
Flow of life energy Çİ;
* Extreme heat and cold,
* Draft,
* Air pollution,
* Humid and humid environment,
* Nutritional disorder,
* Stress, tension, anger,
*Walking and lack of movement
* Artificial foods and foods,
* Harmful substances such as cigarettes and alcohol,
* Toilet habit disorder is one of the reasons that always affect this balance
– With acupuncture treatment, this life energy regulates the disturbed balance in the flow of “Çi” and strengthens the yin-yang balance system.
YIN: Negative, female, night, dark, passive, cold, humidity, electron, base
YANG: Positive, male, day, bright, active, warm, dry, proton and acid represents i. If you pay attention, these two elements are:
Opposite each other (negative-positive)
Following each other (like day comes when night ends)
Being a force that attracts each other (negative (like attracting the positive)
The ability of each element to contain or transform into each other, albeit a little.
To give birth to each other, to continue the lineage (Every woman (Yin) or man (Yang) has a mother (Yin) and a father (Yang).
According to this belief in China, these elements are healthy It is always in balance in the body.Yin meridians are located in the inner parts of the body (medial = inner part of the arms and legs), which need more protection, Yang is located in the outer and back parts of the body and limbs (legs and arms).YIN meridians are located in the inner parts of the body (from the hairs). Yin = feminine areas in need of protection. YANG meridians are located on the front and outer back parts of the legs and arms (hairy part) in the areas where Yang = masculine, which is more resistant to impacts.
5 Elements Theory:
The five elements are the five forms of exchange of energy. These are:
Fire
Wood
Earth
Metal
Water
Every elemental matter It is a definition of energy, and this energy moves from one to the next. The five forms of energy; metal, wood, water, fire and earth. The five element theory proposes that all phenomena in the universe correspond in nature to wood, fire, earth, metal or water, and that they are in constant motion and change. This theory was first used in BC. It was invented in China in the 16th century. At that time, the Chinese thought that the nature they observed was affected by five important conditions: “Food is prepared with water and fire. Metal and wood are needed to produce. Soil gives birth to everything”.
Based on the five element theory in Traditional Chinese Medicine, a diagnosis and treatment method has been developed that covers the physiological and pathological workings of zang and fu organs, their interactions with each other and with the outside world. Each element represents a certain organ, texture, sound (yelling, laughing, etc.), color, smell, taste, sense organ, emotion and climate. There are controlling, supporting, inhibiting and regulating relationships between the five elements, hence the organs. For example, according to traditional Chinese medicine, wood (liver) controls earth (spleen), earth water (kidney), water fire (heart), fire metal (lung), and metal controls wood; wood fire (liver heart), fire earth (heart spleen), earth metal (spleen lung), metal water (lung kidneys) and water regenerate wood (kidneys liver). Therefore, each organ plays its role in this cycle with its Yin and Yang energy. When the Yin and Yang balance in an organ is disturbed (sick), this imbalance is reflected in the other organs with which it interacts. Other organs are activated so that the balance can be re-established and thus the disease picture is completed. In traditional Chinese medicine, it is aimed to detect and heal the imbalance between Yin and Yang.
ZANG-FU ORGANS
Zang organ meridians are (-) and they are filled organs.
Zang Organs: Spleen, Liver, Heart, Pericardium, Pancreas, and Kidney.
Fu organ meridians are (+) and represent hollow organs.
Fu organs: Large Intestine, Small Intestine, Bladder, Stomach, Gallbladder and Triple heater (Energy)
The five elements play the most important role in Feng Shui. The cycle of energy is different according to the elements.
The Positive, Productive Cycle
Here one element interacts positively as it transforms into another. As one creates or feeds the other, it creates a growth in potential energy.
Tree creates fire. Fire turns into ash, creating earth. Metal comes out of the soil in the form of minerals. When metal melts, it forms water. Water also nourishes the tree
Debilitating Cycle
A weakening cycle occurs when one element reduces the effect of the previous one. This exchange is not aggressive. Generally, unwanted negative energy foci are weakened by this cycle.
The opposite of the productive cycle is the debilitating cycle. It has a debilitating effect as it prevents each other from spawning.
Water nourishes the tree, then the tree weakens the effect of water. Metal creates water, then water weakens metal. Metal is formed from the soil, metal weakens the soil. Fire creates earth, but earth weakens fire. The tree feeds the fire by burning, then the fire weakens the tree.
Destructive Cycle
This is usually an aggressive, somewhat hostile interaction of the elements. One element hinders the development of the next.
Water puts out fire. Fire melts metal. Metal cuts wood. The tree takes over the soil with its roots. Soil also retains water.
Using this cycle for slimming is not recommended. The hostile attitude between the two powers does more harm than good. This brings harmonization.
WATER: Aquarium, pool, blue and black
TREE: Green plants, green
FIRE: Lots of light, candles, red items, red, orange
SOIL: Soil materials, gravel stones, crystals, rock, soil/sand, yellow
METAL: Wind chimes, winding watches, metallic colors, white
In today’s medicine, the functions of our organs are now known in detail. All organs and tissues in our body create a balance by contributing to the maintenance of stable internal conditions and the regulation of functions
. The lung provides oxygen to be used by the cells and throws out the carbon dioxide that is released, the heart pumps the blood to the tissues, takes on the task of carrying blood, the digestive system digests the necessary nutrients and empties the unneeded ones, the liver processes these digested materials, the kidneys provide the ion balance and again helps to discharge the wastes.
Our Autonomic Nervous System forms a large part of our nervous system and regulates functions (arterial pressure, body temperature, the functioning of our internal organs, etc.) that are beyond our conscious control. Most of the functions of the organs in our body are directed by “autonomic reflexes”. For example, the smell of an appetizing meal is evaluated by our nervous system even before we take the bite into our mouth, and saliva and stomach secretions begin with parasympathetic stimulation. Another example of an autonomic reflex is the regulation of our blood pressure. When our blood pressure rises, this pressure is reflected in the veins. This pressure, perceived by special receptors on the vessel wall, is transmitted to the brain. The brain lowers our blood pressure by reducing sympathetic stimulation. The sympathetic and parasympathetic systems are in a constant state of basal activity; They have undertaken the task of providing a certain balance against internal and external conditions.
