Today, there are sections of people who think that children will become individuals with high self-confidence when they are released. Contrary to popular belief, parents who set rules do not show less interest and love to their children, on the contrary, they make them feel safe by putting their lives in order, and they prefer to show their love in other ways. The rules set for children should be simple and understandable, but more importantly, these rules should be communicated and applied to children in a clear, concise and consistent manner. When parents behave inconsistently and unstablely, the children’s conclusion is “if the rules can be broken this time, they can be broken another time”. Boundaries also define relationships. « Who is in charge here? How far can I go? What happens if I go too far? » Children find the answers to questions such as the boundaries drawn and the rules set.

1. During the separation period, information should be given to the child in accordance with his/her developmental level. 2. The child is especially curious about what his own life will be like. For this reason, information such as where the child will stay, whether he will continue to the same school, how and how often he can see his father and other relatives should be given in a way that he can understand. 3. Children sometimes blame themselves for the separation. It should be said unequivocally that the parting is not about them. 4. Parents should continue to set boundaries and show love to the child appropriately. Too much boredom or failure to set appropriate boundaries will cause the child to be unhappy.
