Betty White, one of the most affordable comedians in the history of comedy, with her husband Allen Ludden and Carmel Valley, the three-storey coastal residence they built in the early eighties sold for a record price.
Located in the midst of the most successful comedians in history, who passed away at the age of 99, Betty White’s residence, which she built with her husband Allen Ludden and Carmel Valley, was built after her death. It was put up for sale for $8 million.

Her husband, Allen Ludden, had designed the three-story waterfront residence in Carmel Valley, California by architect Richard Hicks in the early eighties. However, Ludden passed away shortly after the property, which was built in a village north of Los Angeles and south of San Francisco, was completed in 1981.
The 3,600-square-foot property consists of four bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, with a price of $7.95 million. However, the couple had only paid 170,000 dollars for the quarter-acre plot, which was empty at that time.
Spending time in Carmel was one of White’s favorite things to do. The town where the residence is located is close to the popular residential areas of many celebrities such as White. On the other hand, the new owner of the house has not been announced yet.
