Cancer is not a single disease, it is a group of diseases. Sin can watch. For this reason, periodic controls should be made regularly to prevent cancer and to catch it early. In addition, we can protect ourselves from cancer to a great extent by taking some precautions. The point to be noted here is that these measures are applied for a lifetime without feeling restricted. When we consider all cancers, we can summarize the main rules to be followed as follows:
- Do not smoke. Do not use tobacco products.
- Reduce animal fat and protein.
- Do not gain weight.
- Do exercises such as walking for 30-60 minutes at least three days a week.
- Consume an average of five servings of vegetables and fruits a day. (For example, one medium apple is considered one portion.)
- Consume different vegetables and fruits. Don’t get stuck on the same foods.
- If you do not drink alcohol, continue not to drink, if you do, reduce it.
- Avoid burnt and processed foods. Do not consume beverages that are too hot.
- Consume the peeled fruits after washing them thoroughly.
- Do not use oils repeatedly for frying.
- Get hepatitis B vaccine to prevent liver cancer.
- It is appropriate for girls to be vaccinated against HPV to prevent cervical cancer.
- If there is Helicobacter microbe in the stomach, have it treated with antibiotics.
- Use sunscreen creams. Do not be exposed to direct sunlight for a long time.
- Solarium also increases the risk of skin cancer. Do not make a solarium.
- Aniline dyes cause bladder cancer, asbestos pleural cancer, benzene blood cancer. Stay away from them.
- Look at additives in the food you consume. We stay away from foods with artificial additives that you don’t know what’s in them as much as possible. Do not consume products containing carcinogenic additives.
- Use low-radiation mobile phones. Use mobile phones for as short a time as possible and by changing your ear. Prefer headphones.
- Unless your doctor recommends it and there is no deficiency, do not take external artificial vitamin supplements. Their anti-cancer effect has not been demonstrated.
