Colorectal cancer is not a cancer that occurs in a few days and there is a very good diagnostic method such as colonoscopy.
Having a colonoscopy every 10 years after the age of 50 will enable us to detect colorectal cancer before it occurs or at very early stages.
Colonoscopy should be performed at the age of 40 for those with familial adenomatous polyposis, Lynch syndrome, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, family history of intestinal polyps or cancer, known to be predisposed to colorectal cancer.
