Why am I failing?

by clinic

Do you know what one of the most important characteristics of successful people is?

BE PATIENT..

If you expect immediate results in the subjects you want to be successful in;

You get demoralized

Your motivation drops

You start blaming yourself.

The success described should not be considered only in academic terms. The individual leads a healthy life in the society; it is expected to use the level of competence in the best way and to be successful in order to benefit the society. Therefore, coping with the failure situation becomes an important task for the individual (Rhodewalt & Hill, 1995). The individual applies different strategies in order to cope with the negative conditions and self-destructive formations that the failure situation will create.

Self-handicapping is when individuals strategically manipulate a situation in such a way that they blame the barriers in the event of a possible failure while performing their own performance (Rhodewalt, 1994). In fact, the most important truth underlying self-handicapping is negative expectations for success-related situations.

So be patient, don’t expect immediate results!!

Be patient and take your time, review the criteria I’ll list below:

Intrinsic Motivation

maximum effort

Self-reference Positive feelings towards work Skill development

risk taking

not avoiding mistakes

Attributing failures to insufficient effort

talent development

Prefer medium difficulty tasks

Asking for help when needed

So no matter what the subject is, keep fighting for the subject you want to achieve and do not rush.
