We all feel anxiety to a greater or lesser degree in our daily lives. So what is this concern? What is the benefit for us, what is the harm? Anxiety is a feeling of worry and restlessness that is difficult to define. The thought that a dangerous situation will arise in the person causes anxiety. A person with anxiety always thinks the worst and these thoughts arise independently of themselves. Having these anxious thoughts can disrupt one’s work, social and private life. In fact, it is normal to feel a certain level of anxiety in our lives, this will allow us to be more organized and protect ourselves against future dangers, but excessive anxiety and worry will harm us and cause disruption in our daily functioning. In fact, anxiety arises as a result of people’s own negative thoughts, but unfortunately people are not aware of it, and because they are not aware of it, they try to suppress it by revealing avoidance behaviors. These behaviors are not a solution and they also start to create physical effects on the person. Heart palpitations, tremors, dizziness are among the most common symptoms. When these bodily symptoms begin to occur, the person begins to worry more, as his anxiety increases, his negative thoughts increase, and the person becomes more withdrawn and begins to live in a depressive manner. He may close himself at home and not want to go out, which causes him to be unemployed and unable to earn money if he is working. This will again create a state of anxiety in the person. In fact, there is a vicious circle here. So, is there a solution to this concern? First of all, think about the situation you are worried about, how much it affects your life. If it is not at a level that will impair your daily functionality, this means a healthy, normal level of anxiety, but if this is at a level that you cannot get out of by negatively affecting your life, you should seek help from a specialist.
