Attentioner Attention Training was developed at the University of Bremen, Germany, as a Neuropsychological-based program supported by behavioral therapy elements. Attention with Attentioner Program is an educational program that effectively improves attention and all related executive functions of children aged 7-18.

The program is based on 2 pillars:

  1. Learning Psychology,
  2. Neuropsychological foundations.

All sessions of Getting My Attention are aimed at effectively improving the child’s SELECTIVE ATTENTION, SPLIT ATTENTION, FOCUS and TIMING functions with stimuli, passwords and activities from easy to difficult.

PURPOSE OF THE ATTENTIONER PROGRAM:

  • Children are better able to concentrate and maintain their attention.
  • Self-problem solving abilities are supported.
  • The only help given by the Practitioner; Typhoon symbol.
  • Problem solving skills and anger control are provided.
  • As a result, daily life is simulated throughout the entire program.

WHO IS APPLIED?

Children between the ages of 7-18 (from the 2nd grade of Primary School),

Children diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder,

Children who are generally undiagnosed, aiming to focus better (Pre-Exam Support).

WORKING SYSTEM:

  • It can be applied as individual and group work.
  • It consists of 15 sessions; Each session is 40-60 minutes.
  • In order to see the difference, pre-test and post-test are done.
  • Problems encountered in daily life are handled in a structured way.
  • The student is supported with structured exercises and activities, thus increasing motivation.
  • Behavior regulation and achievement motivation are supported by the reward system.
  • In addition, 4 parent sessions that can be applied provide the transfer of learned strategies to daily life.
