Famous producer Can Tanrıyar was in the police station last year with Recep K., with whom he had a conflict. Recep K., who attacked Tanrıyar by entering the police station with a knife, threatened the famous producer in the “I will kill you” statement. It was learned that the police intervened in the attacker after Tanrıyar survived the knife blow.
Petek Dinçöz’s ex-wife and television producer Can Tanrıyar was detained in the police station in September last year due to a conflict with Recep K. While the tension between the two continued, Recep K. entered the police station with a knife in his hand and attacked Tanrıyar by saying “I will kill you, you cannot get rid of me”.
Surprised by what happened, Tanrıyar managed to get rid of the knife attack by bending down at the last moment. The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office launched an investigation against the attacker, who was neutralized by the intervention of the police. The prosecutor filed a lawsuit against Recep K., demanding a prison sentence of up to 8 years for attempting to injure with a gun and making threats. The case will take place in the Istanbul Criminal Court of First Instance in the coming days.
