“Advice in the Pharmacy” for the correct use of food supplements

Istanbul, 11.02.2020 – Bayer Consumer Health started a long-term certificate program for pharmacists with Istanbul Medipol University Faculty of Pharmacy. The certified training program, prepared to guide consumers about food supplements correctly, to protect public health, and to support pharmacists as the first and most important intermediary in this matter, will be accessible to 27 thousand pharmacists until the end of June 2021.

Supporting pharmacists who took the responsibility of informing the public about food supplements by organizing face-to-face trainings with 1000 pharmacists in 9 different provinces last year, Bayer Consumer Health aims to reach much more pharmacists throughout 2021. The certificate program will be carried out through the distance education system of Istanbul Medipol University Continuing Education Center (SEM) and thus widespread access will be achieved throughout Turkey.

Pharmacists who have completed the 40-hour training program will be entitled to receive the Istanbul Medipol University & Bayer certificate of “Advisyen in the Pharmacy”. The relevant certificate program will be updated and repeated with new content at the end of each semester.
