Psychological support continues for the children of earthquake-affected families, who were placed in student dormitories on the Çukurova University campus after their houses were destroyed or severely damaged and became uninhabitable. Çukurova Municipality, which has been on the field with its psychologists since the first day of the earthquake, continues its services for the earthquake victims’ families and their children by doing various activities for their mental health, and provides psychological first aid therapies in the municipality’s kindergartens, rest houses and facilities, continues its work without interruption.

The Psychological First Aid and Psychosocial Support team, serving under the Çukurova Municipality’s Directorate of Women and Family Services, meets with the children, ensuring that they have hours of fun and making great efforts to rehabilitate them. The psychosocial support team, which came together with the children of earthquake survivors from Kahramanmaraş, Hatay, Adıyaman and Adana hosted in the dormitory, is trying to dispel the worries and fears in the little hearts.
