There is a period of time, perhaps 6 months, which is not considered very important. However, the small age group becomes very important in development and education.

You see that in a 10-month development period, the baby, who cannot hold his head, is able to pass the crawling and take his first steps. There are periods in human life where development is rapid. The 60-66 month period is also in these periods. Although 40-50 years is a ten-year period, it does not matter much in terms of development.

In the 4+4+4 education system, the area where children will experience the most difficulties will be the area of ​​emotional development. It may not be expected by the environment to be felt too much, or the disruptions may not be immediately obvious.

The difficulties that the child will experience in the emotional field may experience self-evident problems such as stuttering, bedwetting, introversion, crying crises, school phobia, stomachache, and constipation. Maybe it can guide them to take precautions or get support from experts, parents…

The important thing is to leave good traces in the preschool period, which is the period when the personality develops and settles in the child, which is difficult to return over time. Children should be prepared for adulthood with beautiful marks and emotional satisfaction.

Today, although adults have very good jobs and lead a life without financial concerns, CHILDHOOD period lies on the basis of their not being enough psychologically, having problems and causing big problems to their environment. So to speak, they continue to attract and suffer…

Children’s self-expression is only possible if the family and environment provide a very good emotional environment. As the age group, the teacher and the family need to pay more special attention. It requires dealing with different and dominant children in such a way that they do not have problems in expressing themselves, without getting lost in many people. Children who are not brought up to be calm and combative in the family will be emotionally damaged and withdrawn.

The development of self-confidence and self-expression are very related concepts. If the child has developed self-confidence, he can express himself well. Of course, it is important here to interpret the child emotionally. Children do not only express themselves verbally, they can express themselves with their pictures, behaviors, physical ailments, use of body language, songs, looks and postures.

The possibility of a solution may be possible with classrooms with low personality, pre-school age, adequate education and experience, families who are enlightened and continue to be enlightened, and parents whose school-family communication is well established. I do not want to mention the physical environment here.

The expectation from 60-66 month old children in the classroom will be to express themselves verbally. His teacher and friends will try to understand the child in this way. The issues we have mentioned above will not be given much importance in the general environment.
The development of self-confidence, which is very important for all ages, will be negatively affected, and the number of emotionally oppressed children will be high. Because, in early childhood education institutions, there will be an environment other than education under the supervision of teachers and giving importance to the development of self-confidence, even though there are teachers and administrators on duty during breaks; they will be seen as a normal primary school 1st year student and the expectation will be at this level.

In some children, on the other hand, they will gain more confidence with the children they have crushed, and attitudes towards ganging can be observed. In order to establish the balance, a trained kindergarten teacher comes to the fore.

Since this system will start in the 2012-2013 academic year, as families, we should watch our children carefully and be alert to the signals that will come from them, and we should get support from pedagogues in order not to experience and cause irreversible or very difficult situations in this sensitive period.
