Endoscopic methods are the names given to all of the methods that allow observation of the inner parts of the nervous system with the help of a long optical handpiece and surgical interventions there.
Advantages
1- Highly improved visual acuity
2- Being very close to the target and focusing very close
3- Having a thin and delicate structure
4- Some types of endoscopy can observe different angles if necessary
Disadvantages
1- Limited number of hand tools
2- All hand tools have to work parallel to the telescope
3- Decreased visual acuity even in the slightest bleeding since it is studied in the cerebrospinal fluid
Despite all its limitations, endoscopic surgeries are the methods that cause the least damage to the human brain in hard-to-reach and small brain lesions and hydrocephalus.
