NAIL FUNGUS
Fungi first settle on the outer layer of the skin, and then on the nail. This results in a fungal infection of the nail.
Why Does It Happen?
Chronic diseases (Diabetes, kidney diseases) can cause it. It also spreads easily in environments with high humidity, high temperatures and pools. After nail fungus infects one nail, it can spread to other fingers. If the person does not pay attention to cleanliness, it is possible to jump to the other foot. Although it is very rare, the fungus that occurs in the nail can be transmitted to someone else.
What are the symptoms?
Although many reasons can be counted, the most common symptoms include yellow and green spots on the nails, browning of the nails, flaking on the nails, excessive hardening and thickening of the nail, and deformities in the nail. One or more of these symptoms can often be seen in different forms in people.
Diagnosis and Treatment
Diagnosis of nail fungus is made by looking under a microscope with a sample of the nail taken from the suspected nail by your dermatologist. Its treatment consists of drugs, creams, laser applications and solutions that your dermatologist deems appropriate.
Ingrown Nail

Symptoms
On the thumb nail at most; It manifests itself in the form of pain, swelling, redness and tissue growth as a result of the nail ingrowing to the sides.
Treatment
First of all, as a result of the examination of your dermatologist, it is decided what kind of treatment will be followed. If the stinging is mild, a sterile pad is placed between the nail and the tissue and the nail is ventilated. If there is sunken, advanced swelling, redness, ie infection, antibiotic treatment and creams are used in addition to tampons. At the advanced level, only the ingrown part of the nail, that is, the edge of the nail, is cut into thin strips and pulled. With the medicated intervention, nail growth from that part is prevented. The area with tissue growth is also intervened by making an incision with cautery. The patient is completely relaxed.

The pain felt in deeper and settled calluses will be much greater. Along with the pain, the thickening continues in the area. Although calluses do not pose a great risk, they require treatment because they are painful.
Treatment
In the first place, the pressure or friction that causes calluses should be eliminated. The existing tissue is cleaned with the help of ….
