Sinusitis is a disease caused by an allergic reaction or infection of the sinuses in the facial bones with microorganisms. If it lasts longer than two months or there are recurrences, chronic sinusitis is in question.

Among the causes of chronic sinusitis, allergic diseases, structural defects or polyps in the nose, inhalation of cleaning materials such as cigarette smoke, chlorac, frequent diseases such as rhinitis, influenza infection, and weak immune system can be counted.

•Pain, fullness, pressure sensation in the ears if the Eustachian tube is blocked
•Weakness, fatigue, feeling of lightheadedness

Diagnosis can be made by taking the patient’s complaints. Also, if necessary, direct X-ray of the sinuses and computed tomography examinations can be performed. fullness in the sinuses can be seen.

Acupuncture therapy

Provides the opening of clogged sinus channels with edema solvent effect.
It reduces the secretions that cause the allergic reaction.
Increases tissue nutrition and defense power in the area.
Acupuncture is an appropriate treatment method because it has no side effects in patients who cannot be cured by drug therapy and who have frequent sinusitis.
