Yazıcıoğlu, who got married three times, also admitted that he was engaged 11 times by saying “I like debauchery, my teacher”.
The actor, who had thyroid cancer in 1995, lost one of his vocal cords due to a medical defect. Referring to this issue, Yazıcıoğlu said that he did not blame the physician and explained:
“Of course I am offended. It blocked my life. That year, I was in the process of making a big deal with Kanal D. I couldn’t speak for 8 months. My Müge took me all over the world. They all said, ‘Your voice is gone, you cannot act’. However, I said ‘I will do it’ and continued the game I had left unfinished. As usual, it didn’t come completely, but I shouted on the balcony that ‘that sound will come’. My cancer treatment lasted 14 years, I never gave up. I spent 1 million dollars, I sold 9 houses. Diseases ate my money, neither ladies nor gambling.”
