Director Emin Alper’s fourth feature film “Arid Days” will be held at the 75th Cannes Film Festival, which will be held in the middle of May 17-28, 2022 this year. Selected for “Un Certain Regard” section. The world premiere of the cinema, which is a joint production of Turkey-France-Germany-Netherlands-Greece-Croatia, will take place at “Un Certain Regard”.

Emin Alper, who returned with awards from many national and international festivals with “Beyond the Hill”, “The Blockade” and “Sisters” The cast of the movie “Arid Days” includes names such as Selahattin Paşalı, Ekin Koç, Erol Babaoğlu, Fazilet Şenocak, Selin Yeninci, Sinan Demirer, Nizam Namidar, Ali Seçkiner Alici and Eylül Ersöz.
“Arid Days” is about the conflicts between the newly appointed young prosecutor Emre, who has been struggling with the drought problem for a while, and the mayor Selim, the local journalist Murat and the notables of the town.
The cinema will be released in Turkey in the autumn months of 2022.
