SPORTMEN MUST CONSIDER THEIR NUTRITION

by clinic

Muscles that train need nutrients to nourish them. Recent research also highlights the value of proteins and carbohydrates for muscle building and increased endurance during training. The first step before training is to get enough carbohydrates. An athlete who does not consume carbohydrates while training can be compared to a car without fuel. Carbohydrates provide the primary fuel for muscle work and balancing blood sugar levels. The more glycogen stores in the muscles are full, the longer the body will be resistant, and it will not feel tired and fatigued.

Performance is high

• The activity is at maximum level,
• Has high level of concentration and attention,
• The rate of illness and injury is low, recovery time is short in these cases ,
• Its growth and development is at the expected level.
• Body load and body fat are at or near the recommended ends.

The most valuable purposes in sportsman nutrition; to protect the general health of the athlete and to increase his performance. In case of insufficient strength with food for a long time, the power needed by the athlete is provided from the fat stores in the body. In this case, together with the loss of weight (weight loss), there is a decrease in muscle tissue, and with the loss of strength and endurance, performance decreases. In the case of long-term excess strength with food, weight gain (increase in body fat) is observed and in athletes who are above the recommended body load; performance is reduced by restricting mobility.
