In the study, it was reported that women who consume less soy have a 1.8 times greater risk of loss of life, while the risk of loss of life for women who consume a lot of soy is reduced by 11%.

The researchers wrote, “As a result of these findings and our previous observations, soy consumed in large quantities reduces the risk of lung cancer by approximately 40% and plays an important role in the regression of the disease.”

Many women who participated in the study were patients who had never smoked before.

In Asian countries, 80% of women with lung cancer are non-smokers.
